Our Customers:
If you’re one of our customers, we will use your information to manage our commercial relationship with you. This includes:

Outlook Plugin Privacy Details:
Our Outlook plugin, part of the Legal Connection suite, operates as a sidebar within Microsoft Outlook. It allows users to link specific emails and their attachments to legal matters in Legal Connection. Users can choose to link a single email or an entire thread, including future replies, to a matter. Linked emails and attachments are accessible within Legal Connection under a dedicated 'Emails' tab for each matter. Users can unlink the email or thread from the matter at any time.
Data Collection:
The plugin collects the Outlook user ID and email content that users choose to link to legal matters. This includes all emails within a selected thread and any future replies, should the user opt to link an entire thread.
Data Usage:
Data collected by the plugin is used to display the emails and attachments within the associated legal matter in Legal Connection. The retrieval of email content is facilitated through the Microsoft Graph API, which requires users to grant permission via Admin Consent prior to using the add-in.
Data Storage and Security:
All data collected by the plugin is stored securely on Legal Connection's servers. The transmission of email data to our servers is protected using Basic Authentication to ensure the security of your data.
Third-party Access:
The Outlook plugin does not provide third-party access to the data it collects, nor does it use third-party services to process or analyze the data.
User Control and Rights:
Users maintain full control over their data. They can delete any previously collected data linked to legal matters, and upon deletion, the plugin will automatically disable the saving of future replies to ensure user privacy.
3. How long we keep your information
We will keep your information for as long as you’re a customer and for a reasonable period after you stop being a customer. We may keep data for longer if necessary to comply with our legal obligations or in relation to ongoing disputes.
4. Who we share information with
While we don’t share your personal data with anyone. We use third party service providers (such as cloud service providers, payment gateways, accountants and advisors) that will have access to your data. In such cases, we implement adequate contractual safeguards to protect your information.
5. Data Transfers
Due to the global nature of our business, we may need to transfer your personal data internationally. In such circumstances, we implement adequate safeguards to protect your data, such as model contract clauses.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:
